Safety - m-zaba

When you activate on-line banking (m-zaba), a software token ensuring maximum safety will be installed. Entering the defined PIN is protected by a variable keypad, and data on PIN and accounts are not stored in the mobile phone. Services that are accessed with a PIN are automatically locked after its multiple consecutive entries, or after three minutes of inactivity.

Unambiguous identification with any arrangement or change of m-banking and m-token, the latest encryption protection, application of the software token embedded in m-banking and the fact that the application cannot be used without knowing the PIN guarantee safety when arranging or using m-banking and m-token.

Some useful tips:

  • Protect your PIN - it is a secret number used to verify your identity and you should not disclose it or make it available to other persons. By doing so you are preventing a misuse in case your mobile phone is lost or stolen.
  • A lost or stolen mobile phone with installed m-zaba app must be reported to the Bank by calling the number 01 3789 888, which is available 24/7.
  • Do not share activation keys or activation QR code.
  • If you need assistance when arranging or downloading the application, call us on 01 3789 785 or send an email to m-zaba@unicreditgroup.zaba.hr.
