You can arrange Standard Protekt in any branch of Zagrebačka banka.

Standard Protekt can be arranged by all persons from 18 to 82 years of age, except for long-term sick leave and termination of employment coverage which can be arranged only by persons up to 59 years of age.

The sum insured for bone fractures is the amount per individual accident, regardless of the number of fractures a person has. If multiple fractures are caused by a single accident, the insurance company will pay the arranged insured amount without increasing the compensation because the policyholder suffered multiple fractures at once.

No, insurance packages which cover the risk of long-term sick leave and/or termination of employment can be arranged only by persons who do not receive income by performing independent services, such as sole proprietorship services, independent professions (e.g. lawyers, notaries public, veterinarians, auditors, scientists, artists, etc., who do not have the status of a person employed based on a permanent or non-permanent employment contract) and services in agriculture and forestry.

As a professional athlete, you can arrange Standard Protekt, but the policy will not cover accidents that occur in professional sports.

A waiting period or a grace period is the period at the beginning of insurance during which the insurer does not have to pay compensation. A waiting period of 180 days is arranged for coverage of the risk of long-term sick leave or for coverage of the risk of termination of employment.

Coverage lasts until 84 years of age.
