In order to receive payments to your transaction account from abroad, you may provide the payer with the following information along with your name, surname and address:
- bank name: Zagrebačka banka d.d. Zagreb
- BIC/SWIFT code of Zagrebačka banka: ZABAHR2X
- for foreign currencies – you may provide the payer with your foreign currency account IBAN
- for HRK – you may provide the payer with your HRK account IBAN
The Bank shall process the payment order received from abroad based on the following rules:
- if your foreign currency account number is stated on the payment order, and the foreign currency received cannot be deposited to this foreign currency account, the Bank shall convert this amount and approve the deposit to your account in EUR
- if your foreign currency account number is stated on the payment order, and the payment is made in HRK, the bank shall open a new HRK subaccount on your foreign currency account and approve the deposit in HRK
- if your HRK account number is stated on the payment order, and the Bank receives a deposit in a foreign currency, the Bank shall convert the foreign currency to HRK and approve the deposit to your HRK transaction account.
The Bank performs conversion using the buying and selling rates, i.e. as regulated by the General Terms and Conditions for Transaction Accounts of Clients. To avoid conversion, we suggest that you send the payer your foreign currency account number in order to accept payments initiated in a foreign currency, or your HRK transaction account number when accepting payments initiated in HRK.
