No, it is not necessary to arrange a direct debit because all costs are automatically charged against the current account in euro.
Activation
A non-activated card is delivered to your address and can be used after its activation, as described in the accompanying letter. The activation differs depending on the card type and the reason for issuing the new card. Therefore, it can be activated in different ways:
online banking (e-zaba and m-zaba)
by using ZABA ATM
by using the automated answering service
in a branch of Zagrebačka banka.
Your card will be ready for use immediately after the activation.
IMPORTANT: To activate the contactless function, first you have to make at least one conventional transaction by inserting the card into an ATM (it is sufficient to check the account balance) or in a POS device at a point of sale.
Use
Individualna Mastercard is a card with charge functionality that enables the card user to purchase and to withdraw cash up to the agreed limit. The card user settles the spent amount in full after the expiry of the accounting period by the agreed date, free of interest for the deferred payment.
Yes, the chosen method of payment can be changed subsequently. The due date for Individual Standard, Student, Gold or Platinum Mastercard credit card can be changed:
over the phone – call 01 3789 620 and request the change from the banker
by visiting a branch
by using e-Branch.
The change for go!card Mastercard and Mastercard credit cards can be requested in a branch or using e-Branch. The due date change will be implemented for the next calculation period.
Yes, with the Mastercard Student credit card it is possible to pay in instalments, i.e. repayment of up to 36 instalments, free of interest or any charges, at selected points of sale in Croatia. For users of m-zaba on-line banking mobile application subsequent splitting the on-time transaction in installment is available, with fee.
To receive a new PIN for your debit or credit card, visit the nearest branch or e-branch. You can check your card PIN any time in our mobile app (m-zaba) if you have arranged online banking.
Kindly visit a branch. Please also bring a document confirming the change and your ID card.
The card user is obliged to report a lost or stolen card immediately. He can do it 24/7 with the Bank stand-by service via tel. 01 3789 789 and confirm the report in writing in the nearest Bank branch. It is also possible to report a lost/stolen card in the branch.
Please adhere to the following pieces of advice:
Remember the PIN and never write it down on the card or other documents
Destroy the old card (it will suffice to cut it through the magnetic stripe) after the expiration date
Do not communicate the PIN or card data EVER to ANYONE
Do not leave the card in visible places (in the car, in a cloakroom, in a hotel room, restaurant, etc.)
Make sure to check the transaction amount prior to payment
After the payment, verify that the card returned to you is really yours
Keep our address and telephone number handy to be able to quickly report a lost or stolen card.
In accordance with the personal data protection policy regarding card users, personal data are not stored on the chip, and neither can they be transferred on the terminal upon payment. Cards do not enable the salesperson to access the data on the user's transactions.
As soon as you notice that your card has disappeared, report this immediately to the Bank so that all the necessary measures for preventing misuse could be undertaken in a timely manner. After reporting the disappearance of the card, you are free from any responsibility and protected from financial loss in case of any misuse.
