We often receive questions about withdrawal fees abroad. We hope these advices will be useful.
If you use debit cards of your current account in euro or a debit card of your giro account in euro, included in a Lepeza Package, Start, Smart and Superior service packages or Package for the Youth, you will not be charged for cash withdrawal abroad at ATMs of banks which are members of UniCredit Group.
The network of UniCredit Bank consists of almost 13,000 ATMs in 12 European countries: Austria - Bank Austria; Bosnia and Herzegovina - UniCredit Bank; Bulgaria - UniCredit Bulbank; Czech Republic - UniCredit Bank; Italia - UniCredit Banca, UniCredit Banca di Roma, UniCredit Banco di Sicilia; Hungary - UniCredit Bank; Germany - HVB (HypoVereinsbank); Romania - UniCredit Tiriac Bank; Serbia - UniCredit Bank Srbija; Slovakia - UniCredit Slovakia; Slovenia - UniCredit Banka Slovenija and Croatia.
A fee will be charged at other withdrawal locations. The fee depends on the card type. Current fees are listed in the Decision on Fee Tariff.
Please read additional messages on the ATM screen before withdrawing cash because foreign banks may charge additional fees for the use of their ATMs, or they may offer the possibility of conversion to the equivalent amount in euro with the application of fees and margins, the so-called DCC. This service may be less favourable than asking to be charged in the currency of the country where you are located.
Important: Please check if your debit card of your current account in euro can be used before visiting countries outside of Europe. You can change the usage model using online banking e-zaba and m-zaba, by visiting any Bank branch, or calling 01 3789 620 (m-zaba/Cards/Management of daily limits– Using your card abroad).
