Favorit Savings is a savings intended for everyone who wishes to make a one-time term deposit.
You may dispose of your savings deposit even before the expiry of the term deposit period, without a fee and disbursement of interest (accrued according to the interest rate prescribed for the achieved maturity in accordance with the Bank's Decision on Interest Rates).
Upon expiry of the term deposit period, the savings deposit and total interest are automatically renewed, in accordance with interest rates on the Classic savings at the time of the renewal and there is no need for you to come to a branch.

Conditions
The possibility of depositing in EUR - the minimum amount of term deposit is EUR 500.
Foreign currency term deposit period from 6 to 48 months.
The agreed interest rate is fixed.
Interest rates are expressed on an annual basis.

Arrangement
A legal representative can open a Favorit Savings on behalf of a minor.
You can open a Favorit Savings at any Zagrebačka banka branch or via e-zaba. If you open a Favorit Savings model via e-zaba, you can realize an additional benefit - a stimulative interest rate of 0.01 p.p. as an addition to the interest rate.
Activation
You can use the funds at any time. The Favorit Savings is specific for its possibility of partial disbursement within the term deposit period.
It is not required for you to be a client of the Bank in order to open any model of savings, but with arranging the product you become our client.
Use
The tax and surtax on the interest are calculated, suspended and paid by the Bank on behalf of the client on the day of accruing or disbursement of interest.
Security
Deposits in Zagrebačka bank are insured by the Croatian deposit insurance agency up to EUR 100,000, per person.
The insured amount is the depositor's amount in a credit institution on the day of an insured event, up to EUR 100,000 on the day of the insured event.
The following deposits are insured: deposits of natural persons, companies, non-profit institutions and local and regional self-governments whose budget for the previous year amounted to a maximum of 500.000 EUR in credit institutions that are authorized to work by the Croatian National Bank and in branches of such credit institutions in other Member States.
