WARNING! Fraudulent SMS Messages Claiming to be from Zagrebačka banka

If you receive an SMS message claiming to be from Zagrebačka banka stating that a new mobile device has been connected to your account and instructing you to open a link to block the device if it was not you, please be aware that this is a scam and that the message was not sent by Zagrebačka banka.

Do not respond to such messages, do not open any links, and do not enter personal information, including data generated by your m-token, as doing so may result in financial loss.

Fraudulent Emails Impersonating Zagrebačka banka

Fraudsters requently send phishing emails falsely claiming to be from Zagrebačka banka. These messages are designed to trick recipients into clicking malicious links, opening infected attachments, or disclosing confidential information, often under false pretenses of urgent actions needed, for example “Aktivacija preseljenja m-Zaba aplikacije”.

If you receive such an email:

  • Do not click on any links.
  • Do not open any attachments.
  • Do not share card details, PINs, activation keys, token codes, passwords, or any other confidential information.

Please note: Zagrebačka banka will never ask you to provide card numbers, PINs, token codes, or other sensitive information via email, SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, or similar channels.

If you clicked a link or opened an attachment:

  • Do not enter any credentials or personal information on websites opened from such email.
  • Change your passwords from a trusted device if you entered them after clicking the link.
  • Contact Zagrebačka banka without delay if you provided banking information, credentials, authentication codes, or other sensitive data.
