About investment banking

Besides being a credit institution, Zagrebačka banka is  also an investment company, in compliance with the EU guidelines on markets in financial instruments and the Croatian Capital Market Act. As an investment company, we are regulated by the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency.  

We provide investment services and activities, and ancillary services. Within our Private domain investment services are provided from the information protected area of Corporate and Investment Banking division.

Zaba IB offers two types of services:

• Corporate Finance Advisory (advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital structure, business strategies and related matters)
• Capital Markets Advisory (offering of equity and debt financial instruments with or without underwriting)

Zaba IB has the largest team of investment banking professionals in Southeast Europe, with experience and credentials dating from 1990s. To our clients, we offer a unique combination of strong domestic market coverage and international reach of the UniCredit Group, which makes us both a global and domestic investment bank.

Zaba IB is part of UniCredits integral investment banking platform in Central and Eastern Europe, which includes sector teams in Vienna, and product teams in London and Munich. In each project, we deliver a blend of market, sector and product expertise.
